About the Nero Sports Exercise Bike
The Nero Sports Exercise Bike comes in at the very low end of the price scale. It is cheap, but for the price you pay (£180 – £220 at the time of writing) it’s not all that bad.
This bike has some great features such as the heavy 12 kg flywheel (a heavier flywheel makes for a smoother and quieter ride) and looks decent. For those who really can’t spend more than £200, and aren’t taller than 6 feet, and don’t weigh more than 80 kg, this bike should be fine, however, the heavier and taller you get, the more unsuitable this bike becomes.
We did find quite a few negative comments about the Nero Sports bike. Firstly, the seat does not go up very high – for taller users – anyone over 6ft, this bike won’t accommodate you. Also, some reviewers state that the bike is unsteady – even well below the advertised maximum user weight.
While this exercise bike is an option, the Savvy Score of 8.9 falls way too short to be included in our Best Spinning Bikes Guide for 2022. Our highest-rated model is the JTX Cyclo 6.
