Matrix Fitness A30 Reviews
We’ve taken a look online to see what people are saying about the Matrix Fitness Home A30. We found 2 user reviews on the Matrix website, giving it an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars. While happy with the product, overall, the 4-star review referred to the console, rather than the machine itself.
Having previously used cardio machines by Octane Fitness, this particular reviewer purchased the XR console version (they did not require the fancy features on the upgraded displays) but had connectivity issues when trying to sync with Wi-Fi. This meant that out of 14 days of using it, they only managed to save progress to the Viafitness app twice.
We also found some expert reviews regarding the A30 Ascent Trainer.
- Steep incline
- Variable stride
- Quiet
- High max. user weight
- Not suitable for beginners
- Stride length is determined by the incline – you can’t simply adjust the stride independently

About the Matrix Fitness Home A30 Ascent Trainer
Unlike standard ellipticals, ascent trainers allow users to exercise with steep inclines. The smooth elliptical motion ensures your knees are not put in danger.
With the Matrix Fitness A30, you’re able to ramp the incline all the way up to 54% for a highly challenging workout. When you compare this to standard ellipticals where the incline tends to max out at 20%, you begin to understand how steep this is. You’ll burn more calories with a steep incline in an efficient and comfortable way. In addition, the 13.5 kg flywheel allows 20 levels of magnetic resistance.
You also get an adjustable stride length. Ranging from 20″ to 24″, this stride length will comfortably accommodate users of just about any height.
Matrix products come packed with a range of unique features and exclusive technology. While the universal features of the Matrix A30 itself have been discussed, others are dependent on the console you choose.
