About the JTX Club-Pro: Professional Treadmill
Firstly, we’ll start off by stating that this treadmill has one of the largest running decks of any we have reviewed. It is also worth noting that it does not fold away, so make sure you have plenty of space if you plan on purchasing this treadmill.
At this size, you should not worry about how tall you are. That said, I guess if you’re 9 feet tall it might not be adequate, but then again, nothing on the market will be!
The powerful 4 CHP AC motor is the heart and lungs of this beast and should last years. It can power larger individuals of 350 lbs (160 kg) at 15% inclines and top speeds of 22 km/h. We mention this a couple of times in this guide because that is downright impressive and needs reiterating!
One of the only downsides to this cardio machine is that it is large and does not fold away – so you need to make sure you have enough space to set it up and operate safely.
The Club Pro comes with a generous 3-year in-home warranty and even a one-year commercial warranty. And if you do encounter any issues, customers state that a technician will be out in no time to help fix the problem.

Running Area
As previously mentioned, the running area is one of the largest we have seen. When spending over £2,000 on a treadmill, you should expect a running surface area of between 7500 and 9000 cm squared.
This treadmill comes in at 8,835 – the top end of the scale – this means you’ll struggle to find any treadmill with a bigger running deck.
Incline Percentage
You should expect a minimum of 15% incline on a treadmill in this price range. Specialist incline treadmills such as the NordicTrack X22i have insane levels of 40% incline, but these are the exception, not the norm, and come in right at the top of the £2,000 – £3,000 price range.
At 15% the Club-Pro meets the minimum criteria.
Maximum User Weight
The maximum user weight depends on your size. That said, a higher maximum user weight suggests that the motor is powerful enough to support that weight.
That means if you come in much lower than the max weight, the motor should last longer, therefore, a higher maximum use weight should be considered when making a buying decision.
The JTX Club-Pro Professional Treadmill has 160 kg maximum user weight. We would expect a treadmill in this price range to have at least 135 kg+, and 160 kg is at the very top of the scale.
Top Speed
We expect to see a top speed of 20 – 26 km/h in the £2,000 – £3,000 treadmill price category. At 22 km/h, the Club-Pro’s top speed is more than most people would ever need, and again, bearing in mind that this treadmill is at the cheapest end of this pricing bracket, it excels.
Motor Power
Most home treadmills come with a DC motor. These motors are not as good as AC motors and will not last as long. The 4 HP AC motor on this treadmill goes above and beyond what we expect at £2,100.
The motor power speaks for itself when you look at the maximum user weight and top speed of this treadmill – this motor is basically capable of accommodating user of 160 kg (350 lbs) at an incline of 15% at 22 km/h! That is incredible.
Features Verdict
The JTX Club-Pro features excel in all areas aside from the incline which is still within range. When we consider that this treadmill comes in at the very bottom of the £2,000 – £3,000 price category, we begin to realise what an absolute bargain this treadmill really is.
With almost perfect customer review scores to boot, the Club-Pro has certainly earned its place as the best treadmill for under £3,000.
