Resistance bands are the perfect alternative to free weights, especially when looking to save space and money. They are fantastic tools to improve strength & flexibility, and are often used in warm-up routines. These highly versatile bands and tubes can be used in a wide range of fitness activities including strength and bodybuilding as well as pilates and yoga sessions.
Bands and tubes (sometimes called gym bands) come in various resistance levels, typically referred to by either a term such as “heavy”, “very heavy” or “light, or by weight – for example, 25lb or 10lb. To distinguish between them, they are often colour codes, too.
